✊🏾Sam Live On CNN!!!✅

The time has come to address a critical issue affecting our community: the importance of passing Proposition 6. This proposition tackles what is essentially involuntary servitude—a modern-day form of slavery that continues to harm our communities in profound ways. Prop 6 is a solution to end this damaging practice that has persisted for far too long.

We need everyone’s voice on this issue. From celebrities to moms and dads, from friends to neighbors, each and every one of us has a role to play. Let’s ensure that everyone is talking about this issue and voting YES on Prop 6.

By passing Prop 6, we’ll take a bold step toward ending slavery for good and prioritizing rehabilitation over forced labor. This is about justice, dignity, and progress.

If you haven’t voted yet, please make your voice heard by voting YES on Prop 6. If you have already voted, thank you—now, please encourage others to join us in this important cause.

Thank you to everyone who has committed to ending slavery once and for all. Let’s push this over the finish line! Thank you to everyone who has remained committed to ending slavery here in California once and for all. 📹Sam Brown on Fox News 📰

Sam Brown, a dedicated advocate for human rights, recently spoke with Fox News San Diego as an ambassador for Prop 6, which seeks to end involuntary servitude in California.

In his interview, Sam passionately discussed the need to remove outdated and unjust language from the state constitution that allows involuntary servitude as a form of punishment.

He emphasized that this proposition is a vital step toward building a more just and equitable legal system, one focused on rehabilitation rather than punishment, which in turn reduces recidivism. By shifting the focus to rehabilitation, Prop 6 not only promotes fairness but also eases the financial burden on taxpayers and enhances public safety.

Sam’s advocacy for Prop 6 highlights his commitment to ensuring that California upholds human dignity and eliminates remnants of systemic injustice.

🚗 Last Friday, Sam Brown traveled to San Diego as an ambassador for Prop 6! ✊🏾

Sam spoke to the local community about the importance of voting YES on Prop 6, a critical initiative to end involuntary servitude in California's penal system. The event was a powerful reminder of how our collective voices can create real change. Sam passionately shared why Prop 6 matters—not just for those directly impacted, but for the fight for justice and equality for all.

📣 What an Inspiring Night at the Prop 6 & Prop 36 Rally! ✊🏾

Last night, we gathered at the Brown Cup Cafe in Oceanside to rally support for Prop 6 and Prop 36—two crucial propositions that stand for justice and equity. The energy in the room was electric as community members came together to raise their voices against outdated l10Pprogramght for a fairer future.

aYES on Prop 6 aims to end involuntary servitude in California’s penal system, while a NO on Prop 36 maintains the progress we’ve made in criminal justice reform over the last decade. Prop 36 is presented like it is in the best interests of the public, but in reality does nothing to evolve solutions for the issues that it states are problems ie drug offenses, homelessness, and theft.  It actually makes them worse.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and spoke with such passion and conviction. This movement is growing stronger because of YOU. Together, we can make real change happen. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue to rally behind these life-changing initiatives.

Brotherhood Reconnecting

Today, I was deeply moved by a conversation with my brother Hung.  We've been advocating together for Prop 6, and after todays rally, he shared a powerful story. He spoke about the final five minutes before his appearance before the Board of Parole Hearings and release from a life sentence and how, in that moment, he struggled with his self-esteem. He recalled me telling him to embrace who he is, and to just let them know that he liked who he istoday. hat he could "hear the narrative". It was a humbling reminder of the impact we can have on one another.

I am eternally grateful to Hung. His story inspires me to continue working and im proud tobe a yes on Prop 6 Ambassador with him. It's not just about the cause, but about the power of connection and support.  The 10P Program has helped so many people, and knowing that it has helped Hung brings me incredible joy.  I'm so happy to be by his side, advocating for change after spending ten years together in prison.  It's truly a blessing.

🎥 10P Expands To Sports: "I Am More Than Just an Athlete" 🎥

In this moving video, each featured Olympic athlete delivers a powerful message: "I am more than just an athlete; I am a human being."

Through their heartfelt words, these champions remind us that beyond the medals—Gold, Silver, Bronze—and beyond the finals, semi-finals, or quarter-finals, they are individuals with real stories of perseverance, struggle, and triumph. They are not just defined by their place on the podium or their achievements in the arena; they are defined by their humanity.

These Olympians share their journies of overcoming personal struggles and external challenges, both in and out of the spotlight. They inspire us with their victories, but they also have moments of vulnerability, solitude, and need. When they raise that flag, set records, or make history, remember the dedication, hard work, and personal sacrifice it took to get there.

Their strength, speed, and agility might dazzle us, but they want us to know that their mental health, personal well-being, and emotional stability are equally important. As they step into the arena, onto the field, the court, or into the ring, let’s honor them for who they truly are: incredible athletes and extraordinary human beings.

💪🏾 Support their journey.
🧠 Acknowledge their humanity.

Vote Vote Vote! Yes on Prop 6 !!!!

Please register to vote if you haven't already done so.  ✅

There has been so much talk about not being interested in political candidates this election season.

🔴

However, please remember that not voting at all is equivalent to voting against the very issues you believe in and support because those that oppose the change will get out and vote No.

Thus, don't listen to this running theme about not voting this cycle, there are many issues that demand your voice. We need it. We need you!!

ACA8, the End Slavery in California Act is now Prop 6.

Let's show up and finish what was started so many decades ago... ending slavery once and for all.

Peace and Blessings 🙌🏿

Congratulate! ACA8 Bill Passes!!!!!!!!!!! 🎉

🌟 There truly aren't enough words to say thank you. Assembly Woman Lori Wilson @asmloridwilson said it better than I ever could. I am so humbled to be a part of this work, and I do mean work because it's far from over.

🔴

In 1849, when California was suggested to become a part of the Union, it was for the sole purpose of expanding slave holding territory. With over 30 modern-day plantations, I mean prisoners, I would say the goal was accomplished. We'll, that was then. This is now, and we have a new set of goals for California. One of which is Ending Slavery in California in all forms.

This monumental accomplishment brings us one step closer to achieving that goal, but let's be clear, it's not over until YOU, the  Voters sing...a ballad of liberation  to the tune of democracy at the Ballot juke Box this November where you get to select a song of freedom for all.

Then, the change becomes real. Then, we can validate celebrating Juneteenth. Then, and only then can we say we came together to End Slavery in California.

Special Thank you to Councilman Brian Hawkins @realpastorbrian, Sylvester Ani Jr. @slyanijr, General Chris Logsdon @cjec, Brian "Bizzy B" Cooper @officialbizzyb and Taffany Lim @TaffanyLim for always personally believing in me. You are appreciated.

The Theory - Documentary

The Theory - Sam has a groundbreaking theory based on the 10P motto that "there are more people in prison than there are incarcerated." Emotional Illiteracy transcends tax brackets, genders, age, social class, and other superficial differences that divide us. Trauma knows no boundaries. The principles of emotional literacy are universally applicable to individuals from all walks of life. This documentary follows The Team as we strive to expand the 10P Program, demonstrating that emotional literacy is not exclusive to those in jail but has the potential to enhance the quality of life and performance for individuals across various sectors, including corporate, youth, athletic, and personal realms.

College Behind Bars Airs

Samual N. Brown, Allen Burnett, Charlie Praphatananda and Dara Yin have stories to tell. Their time in prison was shrouded by their reality. Three of the four were charged with murder and sentenced to life without parole. It’s what one of them, who entered prison at 20, describes as death by incarceration. Taking college courses had been going on for decades in California prisons, but in 2016, California State University Los Angeles became the first public prison in the state to offer bachelor’s degrees to incarcerated people.

The Sky is No Limit

Skydiving was something that Sam has wanted to do since learning that his father John David Brown served multiple tours in the Vietnam War as an elite 101 1st Airborne Screaming Eagles Paratrooper. "If my father can do it while being shot at, I can certainly do it when circumstances are ideal. Diving out of the plane represented a rebirth for me, giving me a renewed appreciation for life's fragility and beauty, and reminding me I can achieve anything I set my mind to.  I loved it!"

Together Cheryl and Lester teach us all about forgiveness, change, and emotional Illiteracy-based criminality  as she now advocates his release acknowledging how much he has worked to overcome the ACEs that influenced his decision making as a teen.

Inaugural 10P Workshop

Inaugural 10P workshop took place in CSP-LAC back in August of 2014 and who knew back then that it would have such a powerful and long-lasting impact? Shout out to all of our original members who set the stage on a maximum security level IV 180 for the entire state to follow.  Like Dr. Hamad said, "the change is most effective when it comes from the people in need of the change." Thank you to Dr. Uwazie for accepting Sams invitation to partner CSU Sacramento with 10P to create the 10P Victim-Offfender Mediation Seminar.  During this time Sam also wrote to numerous attorneys, Diane LeTarte and many others came. However, special Thank you to Keith Watlley of UnCommon Law for accepting the invitation to partner with us to create the 10 Parole Preparation Workshop. At that time, it was the first of its kind for the state!
FREE Brian Lewis, and Phillip White. 10P Originals that have done the work to become pro social and productive members of society. We need them home to strengthen our Community.  Cant talk about our humble beginning without advocating for VIPs that have not only done the work to change themselves for the better, but have also served as shining examples and guides for 1000s of others at this point in their incarceration. We need them home. Free Brian Lewis, G43308 and Free Phillip White, AM8755.
